Changes for 2010
After 10 years worldwidefriends, my service for free ads for thousands
of American Indian Prisoners looking for a pen-pal, and offering
the same for some hundreds non American Indians Prisoners and
Freeworld Pen Pals, I decided to stop to offer my service for
free by the beginning of 2010.
All the years, me and a few volunteers worked for free and payed
all the costs by ourselves. We took the money for stamps, paper,
envelopes, ink, webserver etc. out of our small pockets and got
only a few $ as donations, thanks to the donors....
As we tried to get members with a small yearly fee, only about
3 or 4 people in the freeworld wanted to support us. Thanks to
the ones, but it is just not enough to keep our service alive.
Many times I was near to close it all because I had no money left
for it and often no time for something else than my work and worldwidefriends.
Many thousands prisoners and visitors in the freeworld enjoyed
and used our service, and many of them found good pen-pals, friends,
relationships and even married.
I really love it, but this does not pay our fees.
By the beginning of 2010 our service is not free anymore.
You will find the different fees and services on our form.
You in the freeworld can print it out and send it to interested
American Indian Prisoners.
You in the freeworld can make a gift to a American Indian Prisoner
and pay an ad for him/her as a gift, easy payment with paypal
(takes the most credit cards), an US Postal Money Order, or to
my Post Account or Bank Account in Switzerland.
Worldwide Friends is for American Indians, First Nation, Indigenous
Prisoners only.
Every month Terry and me will choose 8 prisoners who will get
a free "4 Directions" ad as a gift from us.
I am sorry I have to make this change. I hope for your understanding.

Terry Dollison, the great volunteer and our US office is doing
a wonderful job.
She is working hard and pays all from herself.
She sends out our forms to interested people who ask us to make
an ad for them.
She sends back the pictures she got from people who wanted them
by their ad.
And she pays the stamps out from her pocket.
She scans the filled forms she get, as well as the pictures, and
send it by email to me.

Hello
everyone,
In
December 2007 I had to decide stop updating my website with new
ads.
This is a choice I had to made considering things happening in
my private
life that need (ed) my full attention and devotion. Also, my finances
have
become very limited. Plus due to major computer problems I became
so much
behind with everything that it would have taken forever to catch
up with
all new requires.
So,
since then this site has not been 'running' anymore as for updates
with
new ads and such. The website has still been online though, I
choose to do
so for those who were already on my website before I had to make
the
decision to quit. So that they would still have the possibility
to find pen pals.
"But
now the end is near"
This site will be taken offline next month; which is February
2009.
THE
GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE ADS THAT ARE STILL ONLINE
WILL STAY ONLINE!
They'll
be transferred to another website. I'm so happy to
find someone willing to 'take the ads over'. And that one is Toja

Jessie Metz from www.americanindianprisoners.com asked me to take
over all the ads from her website, because it will be closed in
February 2009.
Toja agreed, we all work to give Indigenous Prisoners a voice
to reach out to the world and find contact.
We don't judge, this is the task of the Jury.
All of us have to stand one day and look into the heart of the
Spirits....
It is easy to judge, the hard way is to think how to treat human
beings, when they have done cruel things.
It was a huge work, to copy every single ad from Jessie's website,
change the look of it to fit to our website, to save every photo,
artwork, poem and to ad it to our website. But it is done now.
We hope you enjoy our now more than 1400 people looking for pen-pals,
also the artwork, the poems etc.

I have added a new design and about 80 new adds (and some address
changes, re-adds). We got requests of about 50 new prisoners to
whom we will send our form. And I had to refuse about 20 requests
because the prisoners are not Native Americans and no females.
As you know, this service is only for Native Americans and female
prisoners.

It is time to tell you a little bit about me and also to apologize
for the delay with new ads nd news in general.
I am sorry I could not ad new people to this side for a long time.
Since a longer time I had a bad burn out and was only coming slowly
out of this black hole. I needed the energy that was left at that
time to work my 3 jobs (2 during the day and 1 at night, no weekends,
and no holidays) to feed my family and to do the most important
things to survive. There was no energy, time and money left to
do all the volunteer work as in the past. I also needed to start
slowly to do something for myself and not only for others. Otherwise
my balance would be completly disappeared.
The black hole is gone (thanks to the spirits) and I decided to
spend more time for myself, my family, my friends and my animals.
But I also will go on with my free services for Native American
People. This website, the www.indigenoustourism.com
website and the www.lakotawaldorfschool.org
project and perhaps some new ideas I have.
I have only 1 fulltime job now and not 3 different ones. But this
also means that there are not as many hours left in a day as I
would need to update this website on a regular basic.
I am glad I have Antoinette by my side. She was and is a great
supporter - many thanks Antoinette.

I am working on around 70 letters I got with different
requests:
For a new ad, for changes of an ad, for informations, etc. This
are only the letters I got myself, the letters Antoinette got
are not counted in this 70 letters. Every letter we get means
work for us - and we work for free as well we are paying the costs
out from our pockets. We read it, we type it for the website,
we answer it, we pay for the stamps, the paper, the envelope,
we scan the photos, we send it back, we make researches if needed,
we send emails, sometimes we even call.

I went through the most of the letters and put many new prisoners
on the website. Also more then 20 interested prisoners will get
their application soon from Antoinette.
- I
made some address changes, changed some pictures and contents.
- One
prisoner wondered why he had not found a penpal in 2 months
- smile - it needs patience and we cannot guarantee a penpal.
- One
prisoner wanted a photo of me. He found the love of his life
through my website and makes a love story photo album. Because
all started with my website, he asked for my photo to have
the story from the beginning. I am happy for him and his girl.
What a blessing.
- On
the 30. September I will go to a market near my home (I will
go there right after my nightshift....) and make advertisement
for our free service for Native American prisoners. And I
will try to sell some prisoner artwork.
- Soon
we will have a sale in our ArtShop.
- Soon
I will offer you a direct link to Amazon (you can order there
books for prisoners) and ebay, where we can make some money
when you go from our website to them and order something.

I will offer you more informations about inmate locators,
etc.

- I have alot more ideas, the only border is my limited time.

Since July 2006, I got around 100 letters from prisoners. Either
to make a new ad, to change an address, to be removed because
they found somebody special, to ask for help.
I am still working on it and hope to have all updated soon.
Antoinette in USA and me pay all the costs out of our pockets.
And we work for free too.

I made a new design to this website. The reason was that the navigation
could not be opened by some people, because they don't allow Java
Script. So I made a really simple one for everybody. I hope it
works and you enjoy it.
The Teepee's in the background were by the Little Bighorn Trading
Post, in the near of the Little Bighorn Battlefield, when I was
there in 2004.

People wanted to be on it, and people wanted to be removed because
the love was
gone, nobody should know it, the man had more than one girlfriend,
etc.
I think it is better not to have a love stories page online, even
I thought in the past it is a
nice idea.
